BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER

Our client is a US based company operating for 60 years and is a world leader in high quality specialty building products and services for the construction industry.  Their products are manufactured and supplied across the globe and provide architects and designers with solutions to some of the most complex building problems. This range of products maintain a leading market position in design and engineering quality.
Our client is now seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager / General Manager to leverage their skills in the industry and drive sales in Indonesia both directly and through distributors.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Sales and Market Development and meeting and exceeding sales targets for Indonesia
Promoting and developing our clients product range across Indonesia.
To set and achieve the Sales Target for product sales at agreed gross margin levels.
Submitting reports on customer visits and actions required.
Preparing weekly sales reports and ordering forecast for the territory, develop & implement creative & aggressive sales strategies to strengthen existing business and increase market share.
Identify & report on local market trends & requirements,
Motivate, manage & support the distributor network in the territory.

Suitable candidates will be expected to possess at least 5 years of working experience in a similar role / related field.  You will possess excellent communication and presentation skills and possess a good understanding of construction contracts.  You will possess good contacts within Architectural firms, Developers and Contractors.  This position requires you to possess and own a car with a valid driving license. You should be fluent in written and spoken English and you will possess the ability to work independently and through distributors to grow our clients business in Indonesia.
